2023 Golden Globes: List of Winners

Among a sea of superstars in film and television, some of music’s biggest names were also nominated at Tuesday night’s 2023 Golden Globe Awards. Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez all left empty-handed.. Check the full list of winners here.

Golden Globes 2019: Lady Gaga wins Best Original Song

Lady Gaga accepted the award for Best Original Song for A Star Is Born's smash hit "Shallow" at the 76th annual Golden Globes in Los Angeles. During the acceptance speech the emotional Mother Monster said: "I just have to say, as a woman in music, it is really hard to be taken seriously as a musician and a songwriter". Troye Sivan, Dolly Parton & Lady Gaga nominated for Golden Globes

The race for Best Original Song at the 2019 Golden Globes is too tight! Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s "Shallow", Kendrick Lamar's smash "All The Stars", Troye Sivan and Jónsi’s moving "Revelation", Dolly Parton's "Girl In The Movies" and  Annie Lennox's "Requiem For A Private War" were recognised this year! La La Land wins big at Golden Globes

La La Land won the awards for Best Original Song for "City Of Stars" and Best Original Score! The movie received all seven Golden Globes it was nominated for! See all the winners here.

Lady Gaga & Sam Smith won a Golden Globe each!

Lady Gaga can add award-winning actress to her resume as she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress In A TV Movie Or Limited Series at this year's Golden Globes in Los Angeles for her performance in American Horror Story: Hotel. Also, Sam Smith’s James Bond theme "Writing’s On The Wall" was named Best Original Song and he shared the prize with long-time collaborator Jimmy Napes. Congratulations to both! 2016 Golden Globes Nominations

Sam Smith for "Writing's On The Wall" and Ellie Goulding - to be fair, Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Ali Payami and Ilya Salmanzadeh - for  "Love Me Like You Do" are both nominees for the forthcoming 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards. As well as Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth for "See You Again", Brian Wilson for "One Kind Of Love" and David Lang for "Simple Song". Those are the nominees for Best Original Song. The big surprise is Lady Gaga's nomination for Best Performance By An Actress In A Limited Series, let's put our paws up and hope for the best!

John Legend & Common - Glory, video premiere

On Sunday night, John Legend and Common beat out pop acts like Lana Del Rey, Sia, Patti Smith and Lorde in the Best Original Song category with their song "Glory" from the film Selma. So to keep the buzz going, the two superstars just premiered the video for their award-winning song.

Την Κυριακή το βράδυ, οι John Legend και Common πήραν το βραβείο για το Best Original Song για το κομμάτι τους "Glory", soundtrack της ταινίας Selma. Φυσικό και επόμενο ήταν να κυκλοφορήσει και το video του νικητήριου τραγουδιού.

Golden Globe Awards 2015: The Red Carpet

The 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards brought out the best, or not, in the big names from the world of music, fashion-wise , who were  nominees for their soundtrack contributions.

Φυσικά και οι εμφανίσεις των υποψηφίων στην κατηγορία Best Original Song στις φετινές Χρυσές Σφαίρες έκλεψαν τις εντυπώσεις,. Από την κομψότατη Lorde μέχρι την aqua Lana Del Rey.

After landing his very first chart-topper on the Billboard Hot 100, with "All Of Me" , John Legend also took home Golden Globe Award for the Best Original Song with "Glory", featuring Common, it was a hell of a good year for him. John beat out songs by fellow nominees Lana Del Rey, Sia, Patti Smith and Lorde. As for the Best Original Score, the winner was The Theory Of Everything.

The important category for me is the one  for Best Original Song, in which Lana Del Rey's "Big Eyes" (Big Eyes) will compete with Sia's "Opportunity" (Annie), John Legend‘s "Glory" (Selma), Lorde‘s "Yellow Flicker Beat" (The Hunger Games — Mockingjay, Part 1) and Patti Smith‘s "Mercy Is" (Noah). It's a bit of a dilemma that one..

Congratulation guys! U2 beat out Taylor Swift, Coldplay and even Justin Timberlake in the Best Original Song category at the 71st annual Golden Globe Awards with the song "Ordinary Love" taken from the biopic Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.
