Katy Perry surprised the world with her new song "Rise" today! The song with the inspirational lyrics  now gets a visual featuring various past Olympics highlights.

Sia's "Unstoppable" gets remixed by Ariel Rechtshaid

Sia’s This Is Acting anthem "Unstoppable" just got remixed by Ariel Rechtshaid and the remix features Pusha T and Afro-Brazilian marching band Olodum. The huge collaboration is part of Gillette Summer Olympics ad campaign.

Russian fake-lesbian duo t.A.T.u. reunited for a performance at the Sochi Olympics opening ceremony, then announced plans for a comeback with a tour and new music on the way and then  canceled all those plans. The new single, "Love In Every Moment", survived all the drama, hear it below

Cher turned down an Olympic performance

Cher is a big gay icon for many reasons so the news that she turned down an invitation to perform at the Russian Olympics due to homophobic legislation wasn't that of a shock!

"My friend… asked me if I’d like to be an ambassador for the Olympics and open the show, I immediately said no. I want to know why all of this gay hate just exploded over there. He said the Russian people don’t feel the way the government does." Well said Cher!
