Gwen Stefani’s third solo LP was originally supposed to arrive in December 2014 but the singles "Baby Don’t Lie" and "Spark The Fire" didn’t work and the record never arrived. Instead, Gwen went back to the studio and started over. "I had just had Apollo (her youngest son), and they had just called me to do The Voice. How am I going to nurse a baby, be a mom to two other kids, be on a new show, and write songs? So I decided to curate a record. Everyone does that! Almost nobody writes their whole records! But it didn’t feel right". This Is What The Truth Feels Like drops tomorrow (March 18).
Το τρίτο album της Gwen Stefani θα κυκλοφορούσε τον Δεκέμβριο του 2014, αλλά τα singles "Baby Don’t Lie" και "Spark The Fire" δεν πήγαν και πολύ καλά και ο δίσκος ποτέ δεν κυκλοφόρησε. Αντ'αυτού η Gwen μπήκε πάλι στο studio και ξεκίνησε από την αρχή. "Μόλις είχα γεννήσει τον Apollo (τον νεότερο γιο της), και με είχαν καλέσει στο The Voice. Πως θα μπορούσα να φροντίσω τρία παιδιά, να λάβω μέρος σε ένα show και να γράψω τραγούδια; Και έτσι αποφάσισα να ετοιμάσω ένα album με τη βοήθεια άλλων, σχεδόν κανένας δεν γράφει μόνος του ένα ολόκληρο album. Αλλά κάτι δεν μου άρεσε". Το This Is What The Truth Feels Like κυκλοφορεί αύριο (18 Μαρτίου).
