What happens when you add great voices, magnificent talent and a few big names to the equation? Normally a big hit and a money-maker collaboration. Jessie, Ari and Nicki’s "Bang Bang", Pharrell, Thicke and T.I.’s "Blurred Lines" and the latest, Riri, Kanye and the Beatle guy’s "FourFiveSeconds", are some very to the point examples. Occasionally thought, that’s not the case. Some huge names of the mainstream industry attempted to combine their magnificence and create a historical music moment but didn’t succeed to shake the pop world. This is a tribute to those underrated, buried and forgotten, or in some cases, unreleased for whatever reason, collaborations. A list of a few of them that didn’t get the attention they deserved, according to me of course!
Τι συμβαίνει όταν ενώσεις υπέροχες φωνές, αδιαμφισβήτητα ταλέντα και μεγάλα ονόματα; Συνήθως μεγάλη επιτυχία, καλλιτεχνική και εμπορική. Τα "Bang Bang" από Jessie, Ari και Nicki, "Blurred Lines" από Pharrell, Thicke και T.I. και το πρόσφατο "FourFiveSeconds" από Riri, Kanye και τον τύπο από τους Beatles, είναι μερικά από τα τρανταχτά παραδείγματα. Μερικές φορές όμως, αυτή η απόπειρα δημιουργίας μιας ιστορικής συνεργασίας και ενός μεγάλου hit, δεν έχει το αποτέλεσμα που οι δημιουργοί του ελπίζουν. Θες γιατί το mainstream κοινό είναι δύσκολο κοινό, θες επειδή θάφτηκαν σε ένα LP και ποτέ δεν κυκλοφόρησαν ως single, θες γιατί η συνεργασία έμεινε στη θεωρία και δεν υλοποιήθηκε ποτέ; Αυτός λοιπόν είναι ένας φόρος τιμής σε αυτές τις υποτιμημένες συνεργασίες, που άξιζαν, αλλά δεν τα κατάφεραν.
