Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Shape I'm Takin'

Is two new double LPs in one year not enough for you? If you're craving even more Red Hot Chili Peppers music, you're in luck: the band has released a new single "The Shape I'm Takin'". The song isn't actually entirely new; it was previously a bonus track exclusive to the Japanese edition of October's Return of the Dream Canteen.

Iconic rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers have premiered a music video for their song "The Drummer", off  their just released double album Return Of The Dream Canteen.

Stream Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Return of the Dream Canteen" LP

Red Hot Chili Peppers released Unlimited Love in April 2022 (their first album in six years, marking the longest gap between Chili Peppers records), but that wasn't the end of the chapter. Six months after that release, the band and producer Rick Rubin are back with Return of the Dream Canteen recorded during the same sessions. While this isn't exactly a sequel to the earlier release, it's hard not to see Return of the Dream Canteen as anything but a companion piece. Stream the new album below.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have a new double album on the way, Return Of The Dream Canteen, their second album of 2022 following this past April’s Unlimited Love. They released "Tippa My Tongue" from it last month, and today, the prolific RHCP are back with a new single, "Eddie", which is a tribute to the great Eddie Van Halen, who passed away in 2020.
