Mariah Carey to host holiday special for CBS and Paramount+

The "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer announced via Twitter she is set to host a two-hour primetime holiday special called Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All!, which will be filmed at her two-night Merry Christmas to All! gig at New York's Madison Square Garden on 13 and 16 December.

CBS announces Adele TV Special

CBS will air a two-hour special on Adele, Adele One Night Only, five days before her album 30 is released. Streamers can watch it on Paramount+.

Beatles tribute special

CBS special "The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles" will air on February 9, exactly 50 years after the guys were first broadcast on The Ed Sullivan Show. An all-star lineup of artists taped performances of various Beatles songs for the show, including Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Maroon 5, Brad Paisley and Imagine Dragons.
