After teasing that her new single would be dropping on Friday, Sia decided to release "Alive" one day early (September 24). But was it worth the wait? Written by Sia, Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr. and produced by Jesse Shatkin, "Alive" was supposed to be Adele’s song, but she changed her mind about it, and maybe Sia should have done the same. If it wasn't for Sia's raw and unique voice, "Alive" would be a bonus track in someone else's album.

Beyonce’s surprise Naughty Boy collaboration "Runnin’ (Lose It All)" arrived online today after teasing it for a couple of days. The track begins slow with simple piano keys and Beyonce's powerful pipes and it builds into an epic drum-and-bass anthem. Singer/songwriter Arrow Benjamin is also featured in the track.

The Weekend topped the Billboard 200 last week after selling 411.000 units of his new LP Beauty Behind The Madness, and this week he retains his position on top of the chart with another 145.000 units, only 77.000 of those units were actual sales of the album, with the rest made up by streaming. This week’s #2 album on the chart, Got Your Six by Five Finger Death Punch, enters with 119.000 units, 114.000 of which were sales. Just saying..
